SMS received today at 9.30am: "Need to do some damage control for client. Got till 3pm. Can you do a quick Joomla template?".
It wasn't a request.
Basically: Design a new layout for an existing client. Code HTML/CSS. Code a fresh Joomla template. Do a new installation of Joomla. Install template. Configure Joomla. Transfer existing content to Joomla. Test out the website. Put the new site online.
"Yes.", was my simple, almost Jedi-like response. Took me 15 minutes to get into office.
You see, we REALLY had to get it done by 3pm. The client wanted to meet and complain about flaws in the current Content Management System (CMS). Long story. So we had a little under 5 hours to get the job done.

The pressure is on.
20-in-a-row! That's the "lucky" streak I'm in, as far as local tournaments go. 20 WINS in a row. No losses, no draws. 100% score.
The 2012 Brijlal Open is schedule for Sunday March 18th. Exciting. Can I continue my winning form? Or will Manoj or someone else send me sprawling back to earth?

Prasad extends winning streak
CANDIDATE master (CM) Calvin Prasad extended his winning streak by claiming the Brij Lal Open Chess Championship at Tappoo City in Suva yesterday.
Fiji Chess Federation president Dr Virgilio de Asa said Prasad won all five of his games including a victory over defending champion CM Manoj Kumar.
